On October 28-29th 2006 the Exhibition of Health 2006 which was organized with the support of the philanthropic association IRFF Onlus and Peace Corps took place at the Institute of Work. Hippocrates Centre presented a poster display and some information on a healthy lifestyle for both children and parents. In addition, we organized a workshop for members of the public at the exhibition on the theme "Implementation of physical therapy methods in treatment of children with chronic diseases". |

On October 7th 2006 Hippocrates Centre, with the kind support of the British Embassy in Republic of Moldova organized a charity show to celebrate the 5th anniversary of the Hippocrates Center. The theatrical-musical show took place in the Republican Palace Hall, hosted by Tony Hawks, famous British writer and comedian, author of the bestseller Playing the Moldovans at Tennis. The latest Hippocrates Ccenter publication was presented. The occasion was a fundraising event for Hippocrates Center raising money for the project to expand the current Health Center. British Members of Parliament, Members of the Parliament, Presidency, and Government of Republic of Moldova, Diplomats and representatives of other international organisations in the Republic of Moldova, local and foreign businessmen and official representatives (200 people in total) were invited. |
