True stories

Victoria Chupak is a long-awaited first child. But the joy of the parents was marred by the fact that doctors discovered a severe disease. Victoria was born with a heart condition incompatible with life.

To save the girl's life were required several surgeries on her heart. The first operation was to be held in Kiev.

With the help of doctors from National Research Institute in the field of Maternal and Child Health and the Ministry of Health of the Republic of Moldova, the girl was transported to Kiev. To be able to pay for the operation, her parents had to announce a collect of funds.

The required amount of money was collected through various donations. With the help of a charity fund from UK, the Hippocrates Center donated to Victoria's family a substantial sum.

Here are some words written by Victoria's mother, Lilya Chupak, in a letter from Kiev: "I want to thank you sincerely for your kindness and for the fact that you responded so quickly and helped save our little girl. Your help camed so timely and made possible our trip to Ukraine. The money was transferred on time, and the operation was successful. Now the life of our girl is out of danger, but she will need another operation when she will grow up a bit. "

Now Victoria have 8 months. She recently took a medical examination. Doctors have determined that due to its harmonious development, the next operation will be decisive and promotes the complete removal of the heart defect.

We are happy for Victoria's success and wish her health!
