Sergey suffers from cerebral palsy with hyperkinetic syndrome and requires constant multipurpose rehabilitation, but his family has been left on destiny arbitrariness. To earn on a piece of bread the father took Sergey with itself on his work. It was too difficult for both because the boy cannot sit independently. The father fixed him to a self-made chair in which the child felt very uncomfortable and got tired. Mr. Ion visited various organizations to solve family problems, and finally has reached Hippocrates Center. At that time the condition of his child has worsened because of under eating. It did not eat according to his condition and age. The unique solutions for the rescue of Sergey’s life were an urgent hospitalization in child care centre, where the boy would receive appropriate care. Thus, the arrangement with children's home where was placed Sergey has been reached. The father has had an opportunity to work and spend evenings with his boy. However, because of the conflict with the administration, Sergey suffered and has been translated in other children's home where the father could visit him only once in a week. Though conditions of residing of the child were good, he suffered and has reached a bad condition. As a result, Mr. Ion has decided to take his son home, in the same cold cellar. After several references in various organizations, Hippocrates Center, with the material support of ChildAid, has helped the family of Sergey and Ion to receive worthy habitation. Now Sergey has a family and a house with good living conditions, which is often visited by his mother and brothers. Periodically, Sergey and his father pass rehabilitation treatment in various hospitals. Despite of the fact that in Sergey's life there were huge changes, and its condition is much better, the child suffers. He still expects the possibility to visit children's collective where it would be accepted and where it could have a better opportunity to learn and understand the world.

In 2002 Ion Andronik and his 5 years old son Sergey, lived in a cellar, in inhuman conditions. They have been deprived of the possibility to cook food for themselves; they did not have a sanitary block and water for everyday hygiene. Because of an insufficient food, the child suffered from under eating. Mum has left them, having left to Moscow, because she had 2 more children from her first marriage, which she should look after. After several ineffective attempts to restore the health of her younger child, deprived of state support, she has ceased to hope for restoration of the boy and has decided to leave it on care of the father.
